First Rebounder Jumper
Do you think that Duncan is best power forward who ever played the game?
I think he is better than Malone and Barkley.
While Malone jumper is a little more accurate than Duncan, and while he was a better free throw shooter, I think Duncan was a better low post scorer, he was better defensively, they rebounded about the same, and Duncan was a better block shooter. I also think Duncan was very clutch when it mattered most. He basically took his Spurs team who was behind by more than 10 points in 4th quarter in NBA finals against Nets and set blocking records.
Also Malone only made it to the NBA finals twice and failed to make it to the NBA finals the two years Jordan retired first time and the year Jordan retired the second time.
I think the same could be said about barkley. Barkley may have had more ballhandling skills better outside shot, and slightly better rebounder, but simply Duncan was just way better defensively and better at contesting shots.
I think you're right. I know Malone was probably the best low post scorer in the game but Tim Duncan was amazing he has a post game he can make freethrows and shoots the ball fairly well. The four rings dont hurt either. But what I like most about Tim Duncan is that He's a big that didn't settle for the jump shot often. I have no respect for players who are 6'10 and up whose primary offense is a jump shot.
